Njie Clinton Suffers Racist Attack In France



Cameroonian football star, Njie Clinton was racially attacked in France after putting up a spectacular performance for his club, Lyon on April 4 in Guingamp. Njie scored the third goal in the game which his team won three goals to one.
Fans of his own team are said have said that they don’t care whether or not he is black, as long as he scores goals for them. As commented on his Facebook page, Njie Clinton says “As we stay top of the league table, my greatest prayers is to be at the Champions league next year”.
A Cameroonian born football administrator based in Europe, Bertrand Ndong said the young footballer is only 21, still has a whole career ahead of him and would not be discouraged by racist insults and that he should be ready for whatever as he lives in Europe.
Njie Clinton’s team, Lyon occupied the 2nd position in ranking after the 32nd day of play. He has played 14 matches and scored 5 goals. He has equally recorded several decisive passes.
