Luh Siamese Twins: 1st National Vice President WICUDA Addresses Mutengene Branch

A Short Address by the WICUDA 1st National Vice President on the occasion of the WICUDA Impromptu Visit to WICUDA Mutengene Branch on Sunday May 03, 2015, accompanied by WICUDA USA President, following the WICUDA SOS Call for the Luh Siamese Twins
The WICUDA Mutengene Branch President,
The WICUDA USA President,
The WICUDA 2nd National Vice President,
The WICUDA National Organizing Secretary,
The WICUDA Mutengene EXCO,
Elders of Mutengene Branch,
Fellow WICUDAns,
Ladies and Gentle men:
Firstly, we want to thank God Almighty for making it possible for us to be with you today, just some 4 months after we installed your Branch. Especially in the very special company of the WICUDA USA President, Mr. Tangiri Oliver, who will speak to you shortly. We thank WICUDA Mutengene Branch immensely for giving us the floor to address you today without advanced notice. We pray you will bear with us when we shortly tell you why such an abrupt visit. We believe your first 4 months of existence have been fruitful and full of hope for the future.
Fellow WICUDAns, the Lord indeed works in ways man cannot comprehend. Imagine that WICUDA National EXCO and the WICUDA USA President had a long working session into the late night of April 29, 2015, during which, we discussed at length, among other issues of mutual interest, the pathetic situation of the Luh Siamese (conjoint) twins whose mother is paralysed for six months now and who were born eight months ago and now desperately need to be taken out of Cameroon for medical intervention. Yet, just the very next morning, the CRTV programme, Hello, was appealing to Cameroonians of good will to help the twins, who were at the Chantal Biya Foundation for an update of their medical health. WICUDA National EXCO Members immediately circulated the information among themselves and contacted the WICUDA USA President and sent SMSs to WICUDA Branch Presidents to get their Branches to do everything so that the twins and their parents can effectively leave Cameroon for treatment overseas. Again, praise be to God, in the evening of the same day, both the CRTV 7:30 PM and 8:30 PM news casts had a news item on the twins, in which Cameroonians were told that a specialized hospital is ready to receive them in America for the surgery and that 7.5m FCFA is needed for their travel incidentals and six months stay in the US. WICUDA is launching a desperate appeal to the Diaspora and, in particular, to the US Wimbum Community and well-wishers to take over as soon as the twins and their parents land in America.
Dear WICUDAns, fellow countrymen, let us take the WICUDA SOS Call for the twins very seriously and react urgently, so that we can give the needed help to these desperate Wimbum children.
As you know, WICUDA has a number of urgent issues to attend to on her normal calendar of activities. Notable amongst such are: Organising EXCO and Enlarged EXCO Meetings, Overseeing Branch Elections and Installing New Officers, Settling Disputes, Reconciling our politicians and Ntumbaw/ Njirong Villages, Planning the long-awaited AGM, etc. As you well understand, WICUDA Coffers are empty and as such the National EXCO is not able to do much. Please, as a matter of urgency, pay in your 2015 dues and WICUDA debts, if any.
May I now introduce the WICUDA USA President and give him the floor.
                              Long live WICUDA Mutengene Branch,
Long live the Cooperation between WICUDA and WICUDA USA,
                                                                          Long live WICUDA!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR KIND ATTENTION.
MAY GOD BLESS US AS WE STRIVE TO SERVE HIS PEOPLE!
