The 49th National
Youth Day Celebrations in Tubah holding at the St. Peter’s Primary School field
Bambui commenced with the arrival of the DO for Tubah Mr. Alim Garga. He was
received by Mr. Tanjong Martin, Lord Mayor for Tubah Council. After greeting
other dignitaries present at the ceremonial ground, the DO posed for the
singing of the National Anthem. The National Anthem was sung, then a replay of
the speech to the youths by the Head of State H.E. Paul BIYA.
The colourful march past began
with nursery, primary and ended with secondary schools. Extracurricular
activities started.
