Platini Mewok says N’jie Clinton is most
appreciated and has more fans in the Francophone territory .
Hear Him: “The probleme is not right between Anglophones
and francophone because you are most appreciated in the francophone side. I’m a
francophone staying in Kumbo and my three years old child have your name because
I want him to play football like you.
The problem is that those who don't
like our country want to bring back clans and as an advise don't in there in
that system so that you will remain le “chouchou” of camerounians. Excuse my English."
Media reports have of late circulated that N'jie's absence in matches of AFCON 2015 were because of Anglophone marginalisation, and they were also allegations that the head coach Volker Finke demanded an amount of money as 'bribe' from the football star in order for him to feature in the list of the eleven players at the AFCON 2015.
