Resolutions Of The Extraordinary General Assembly Of The Tubah Union For Peace, Progress, Prosperity And Power (TUP4) Held On Saturday August 22nd, 2015 At Bambili Credit Union Hall

The TUP4 General Assembly comprising internal and external Elite, Traditional Rulers, Landlords, and Business Operators in Tubah with the Vice Chancellor of The University of Bamenda as Guest of Honour resolved as follows:
1.      To express gratitude and unprecedented support to the President of the Republic, and Head of State H.E. Paul BIYA for the putting in place of the major faculties of Arts, Law and Political Science, and Economics and Management in the University of Bamenda
2.      To thank the Prime Minister and Head of Government, H.E. Philemon YANG, the Minister of Higher Education, H.E. Prof. Fame NDONGO, and the Vice Chancellor of the University of Bamenda, Prof. Edokat Tafah for the roles they have each played in making this a reality, thereby saving the whole North West Region of the yearly exodus of over twenty five thousand students from the Region to other Universities depriving the North West of approximately thirty billion francs.
3.      To moderate rents of student rooms and to ensure such amenities as access roads, water, and electricity. To be courteous, welcoming, and moderate prices of basic necessities such as foodstuffs.
4.      To heighten vigilance and co–operate more closely with the forces of law and order to ensure security.
5.      To pursue the project of the construction of an Amphi theatre of at least 700 sitting places in the campus of the University of Bamenda as one of the concrete measures to assist the Vice Chancellor in the arduous task of making the Faculties operational.

The General Coordinator of the Tubah Union for Peace, Progress, Prosperity and Power (TUP4) invites all internal and external elite of Tubah, The Mayor of Tubah and all Municipal Councillors, traditional rulers, Landlords, Business operators, Heads of Institutions in Tubah to attend a special extraordinary General Assembly scheduled on Saturday 22nd August 2015 at the Milky Way Hotel, Bambui beginning at 2:00p.m prompt.
The meeting will focus on urgent measures to be taken to assist the Vice Chancellor of The University of Bamenda put in place the three newly opened Faculties of Arts, Law and Political Science and Economics and Management.
