The trees were donated by Mendel Foundation; a Community Based Organization for the protection of the environment and the underpriviledge, organice agriculture practices and animal rearing.
During the planting exercise the CEO Mendel Foundation Mr. Ache Valentine lectured to students of Tobby Vision Computers on the importance of trees to our environment - stressing that trees purify the air, act as shelter for animals, prevent erosion, act as wind brakes, are used for furniture, in the production of papers used by Tobby Vision Documentation, scientific research etc.
He also lectured on the importance of removing the plastic polythene bags out of our environment saying they take a long time to decay.
